My Arbor – Plose Wellness Hotel: greetings from the front desk

Above the rooftops of Brixen, where the forests of the Plose begin, the My Arbor lifts itself off the slope on slender supports — a house literally built between the trees. Opened in 2018, it is South Tyrol's most unusual spa hotel: an adults-only refuge at 1,070 metres in which architecture, forest and the wide view over the Eisack valley form a unity.

A house between the trees. The name is the programme — *arbor* is the Latin word for tree. Built on stilts above the forest floor, the My Arbor lets nature live on underneath and around it; floor-to-ceiling windows bring the larches and the valley view into the room. The buildings are adults only and geared entirely to the calm of adults.

Spa Arboris. The heart is a 2,500 m² wellness area: an infinity pool that opens inwards and outwards, a cold-water pool and a sauna landscape with five saunas complete with infusions. Ten treatment rooms take in massages and body treatments; yoga and forest bathing carry the idea of the house out into nature. Brixen with its cathedral and arcades lies ten minutes down the valley.

2,500 m² spa with an infinity pool

The Spa Arboris extends over 2,500 m² and turns the hillside position into a programme: an infinity pool reaching from the heated indoor area into the open, plus a cold-water pool and rest zones with a view over the Eisack valley. The sauna world comprises five saunas with regular infusions; in ten treatment rooms massages, facial and body treatments are offered. A spa that brings the silence of the forest inside.

A tree hotel at the foot of the Plose

The My Arbor stands on stilts in the forest above St. Andrä, the local mountain of Brixen. Hiking and biking trails begin directly at the door; the Plose ski area and the Brixen high-altitude trail are within reach. Forest bathing, yoga and guided tours tie nature into the programme — wellness that does not end at the spa door.

Nest, Hangout and Treetop

The around 100 rooms and suites are divided into three worlds — Nest rooms, Hangout suites and Treetop suites —, all with floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony towards forest or valley. Natural materials, clear lines and plenty of wood continue the architecture of the house inside.

Location above Brixen

The hotel lies on the Leonharderstraße above Brixen, at the transition from the Eisack valley into the forests of the Plose. The episcopal town of Brixen with its cathedral, the Hofburg and the arcades is ten minutes away; the Dolomites, Val Gardena and the Alpe di Siusi are easily reached.
