The Landromantik Hotel Oswald is a family-run four-star-superior house, a member of Relais & Châteaux, in Kaikenried on the Bavarian Forest Nature Park. For a single night it is above all the spa area that is decisive: around 4,000 m² with a rooftop pool at 32 °C, an XXL sky whirlpool, a Finnish sauna, an aroma steam bath and a wellness garden — a spa surface that in this form carries even a single night in upmarket spa hotel-keeping.

Early spa check-in and late check-out are part of the package; a single night thus becomes in practice a full wellness day with an evening programme. On arrival a bottle of Oswald's gourmet sparkling wine waits in the room; in the evening the kitchen serves, as part of the pampering board, a multi-course gourmet menu that belongs to the night without a surcharge.
