75 years of Oswald — anniversary break

The Oswald family has run the house since 1951 — this package marks its 75th anniversary with a concrete gift to guests: a € 75 spa voucher per person, redeemable for treatments on site. With spa list prices of around € 75–95 for a 50-minute massage the voucher covers roughly a whole treatment — which makes the package interesting for guests who are planning a massage or a beauty programme anyway. Three nights with pampering board and an afternoon snack form the frame.

The hotel is a family-run four-star-superior house, a member of Relais & Châteaux, in Kaikenried on the Bavarian Forest Nature Park. Arrival is restricted to Sunday through Tuesday — a constellation that belongs to midweek and accordingly runs quietly. The 4,000 m² spa area with a rooftop pool, an aroma steam bath and a Finnish sauna stands in the background; with the anniversary voucher in hand the treatment rooms become the real main stage.
