Mooshof Wellness Hit

The Mooshof lies at the entrance to Bodenmais, a climatic health resort on the edge of the Bavarian Forest — embedded in landscaped garden grounds, mentioned in the history books since 1301, in the hands of the Holzer family since 1912. Today a four-star-superior wellness resort with around 3,800 m² of bathing and sauna landscape: two indoor pools, an outdoor pool heated all year, a landscaped natural bathing lake with an event sauna, six themed saunas, a relaxation pavilion and rest rooms with floating and cuddle loungers — orders of magnitude that rarely stay in the same family with this consistency.

Four nights here are less a short holiday than a weekly rhythm. The three-quarter gourmet board carries you through the day — from the breakfast buffet via the afternoon buffet to the evening choice menu or speciality buffet; on Sundays the candlelight dinner replaces the regular evening programme, and on another evening a live band plays for dancing — the unhurried hotel culture of a school that has long since gone to sleep elsewhere. In addition a Clarins treatment is part of the package, either a facial treatment or the aromatic body treatment of the Parisian house.
