Longevety therapeutic fasting with Kneipp at the place of origin

Bad Wörishofen is not just any Kneipp health resort — the teaching is at home here. The priest Sebastian Kneipp developed his hydrotherapeutic method in the town; the Kurhotel Fontenay lies at the centre of this origin and integrates the water affusions, wraps and baths not as a spa add-on but as the core of a guided fasting week. The operator is Holzbock GmbH; the house appears publicly as the “Kurhotel Fontenay” and employs a spa doctor of its own for the medically supervised variant.

Seven nights, laid out as a complete therapeutic fasting cure: an individually worked-out daily plan of herbal teas, freshly pressed fruit and vegetable juices as well as vegetable soups replaces solid food; add all the Kneipp treatments prescribed by the spa doctor, two 30-minute full-body massages, a medical pedicure and continuous medical supervision.
