Whoever arrives at the Jagdhof feels as though they were in their own dream world of well-being. That was the aim of the renovation and remains the wish of the only five-star spa hotel in the Bavarian Forest. The 21 new, inviting suites of between 60 and 230 m² create a luxurious living atmosphere with three different room concepts. The Jagdhof's new Sports & Fitness World offers an experience for athletes of every level. Its 1,380 m² take in indoor and outdoor areas. Below we introduce the house's new features briefly.
The Jagdhof is the spa hotel for everyone who wants to be active. With 1,100 m² inside the hotel and 280 m² outdoors there is plenty of room for training. Guests are offered various sports, guided group classes and classic training equipment. For the adventurous there is also an altitude chamber in which training at great height — on Mount Everest, say — can be simulated. Boxing enthusiasts can use the boxing tower with its various training devices. There is also a Powerswim installation (OSPA) with timing equipment, with which you can analyse and improve your swimming technique.
Group classes such as pilates, tae-bo and yoga are on offer, as is a cardio area with cross trainers, rowing ergometers and rotation trainers. There are two altitude chambers for simulations up to 8,000 m and a functional area with artificial turf and weight sleds, kettlebells and other functional equipment. Strength and athletic training areas are likewise available. Slackline, slide boards and balance pads challenge coordination and balance, while a boxing tower offers various training devices. ICAROS training combines sport and VR experience, and a 25 m sports pool with a water depth of 1.80 m offers Powerswim and ALGE timing technology. The Jagdhof's sports and fitness world has something for everyone.
The hotel had long been known for its wellness and sports offerings, in which a great deal of pleasure is possible — from the delicious seven-course menu to exquisite massages or tours in luxury cars. The newly renovated luxury suites offer yet more elegance and comfort. Guests can use private loggias, sun terraces and infinity pools. The Finnish sauna and the outdoor whirlpool in the suites' wellness area lend a special note.
